The Pit BBQ - Murrieta: Best BBQ, Brisket & Ribs Near Murrieta, CA

A few of us work down the street and discovered this place. We did a pick up order for lunch, came back to eat it. There are not enough words to describe how amazing the food was. Some of the best bbq in Southern California hands down. And the prices were unbelievable! The food was fresh, beyond delicious, and service outstanding.

Josh catered bbq for my birthday in Temecula and completely blew everyone away. I heard several people mention that he made the best brisket and baked beans they have ever had. I would recommend The Pit Bbq for any special event!

Came across this place at Murietta market nights and immediately fell in love!!!! This was one of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Recently found out they have a little store in Murietta for pickup/delivery and decided to go check it out again. It did not disappoint!! We ordered the brisket sando and it was mouth watering. The bbq sauce is so good. Meat cooked to perfection. Their baked beans and Mac and cheese are to die for. My god they’re so good. Everything was delicious! They had a little bar table inside to eat and a small table outside, but no real inside dining. The little table inside was perfect for us to eat while it was fresh and the guy working was super cool and friendly. Will 1000000% be coming back. Recommend it to anyone craving some great bbq

Wow! Just moved to Temecula in December from Nor Cal. Tried a few of the BBQ spots around the new house. The Pit was a 5 min drive from the house so I checked it out… Easily the best BBQ that I’ve had. By far. Ordered the special of the day, BBQ Kimchi Sandwhich. Sheeesh! That was awesome. Dane helped me out and also threw in some ribs for me to try and a cookie.. very nice of him. Ribs were *chefs kiss* Bought some Beef Tallow also, will try that out at home soon. 5/5 this place rocks. Only con is lack of seating to eat on site but as far as the food goes, you can’t beat this!!! So happy this is close by. Thanks Dane! Will def be back.

My God….. for the people that know meat…. These guys whose BRANDT cows. These cows are unbelievable tender. Pull part test passed with ease. The fat naturally has a buttery taste. No need to add

BIG FANS! We have been fans of The Pit BBQ for a while. Last week Josh and his amazing team catered our son's wedding- making it unforgettable. The food was absolutely phenomenal, beautifully presented and perfectly tailored to our event - but the level of professionalism and care was unmatched! The feedback from our guests has been so incredibly positive about the food and his team! Josh was a dream to work with, responded quickly and customized an affordable and beautiful menu for us (and our vegan guests). Every dish reflected care and attention to detail. Everything ran smoothly thanks to their seamless execution and genuine commitment to excellence. What makes it even more remarkable is Josh managed to deliver this outstanding product and service while recently welcoming a new baby AND opening a brick and mortar location! Talk about dedication! His passion definitely elevated our event! Highly recommend!

Oh my! Today was the first time for us. We ordered the brisket platter. It was awesome! We also ordered their macaroni and cheese. It was very good too. This is a catering service that also has take out. You really can't eat there but it's this worth going to get their food. Their menu is fairly simple and you can order online or at the kiosk there. We will definitely come here again.

Catered our wedding and did an amazing job. I got so many compliments on the food, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more tender brisket. Josh and the team were wonderful from the initial tasting through to the main event. Great communication, great service, and great food at a reasonable price for our small wedding. Would highly recommend.
